I can remember the moment I wanted to become and artist.

I was very young, trying to draw a picture of my family. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the portrait to reflect what I saw in my head, and in that moment I decided I would keep drawing until I could draw my father's face perfectly. I've been creating art ever since.

As I was growing up with this love of art I also spent a lot of time watching my older brother play video games. Inevitably, I started playing them myself when my parents bought my siblings and I a Playstation 2.

My art style became influenced by Japanese and American cartoons as well as the art of games like Final Fantasy. I began to see video games as a medium that can tell stories like no other; a union of technical design, storytelling, and art to create the ultimate art form. My dream of becoming a game designer sprouted somewhere around 8th or 7th grade.

I now dream of creating interactive worlds and stories that can't be achieved with any other medium. I want to collaborate with writers, artists, sound designers, programmers, etc. to create something beautiful and unique.

I'm studying game design now at the University of Southern California, something I didn't think possible back in 8th grade. I'd like to someday become a creative director for games. Currently, I share my love of games with my like-minded classmates. Great friendships have been forged here at USC, and I'm eager to see where this path will lead us.

I also like food a lot. I wouldn't even stop eating my pizza for the sake of a good portfolio photo.
